Ecliptic Brewing + Reuben’s Brews Cosmic Collaboration

Portland, Oregon. Earth. (March 13)- Ecliptic Brewing’s Cosmic Collaboration Series has always featured an exciting line-up of beers with everything from an IPA brewed with Pinot Noir juice to a Session Barleywine.  And the fun doesn’t stop now. Ecliptic Brewing has teamed up with Reuben’s Brews out of Seattle, Washington for their first Cosmic Collaboration of 2018. 

“As our team went through this year’s planning, we found that Reuben’s Brews was on everyone’s Cosmic Collab wish list,” said Owner and Brewmaster of Ecliptic, John Harris. “We were lucky enough to make it happen and when working with Adam Robbings (Co-Founder and Brewmaster of Reuben’s) on the brew we decided to go with a hazy beer but play with it a bit.” explained Harris.

In a time where hazy beers are found in almost every bar and bottle shop in the northwest, seeing how breweries ‘play’ with or further experiment with the style is something to look forward to.  Named after a reddish star hidden in the fur of Lepus the hare, Crimson Star is a Hazy Double IPA brewed with pomegranate and guava and dry hopped with Citra, Azacca, Ekuanot, and Motueka hops.
