Fort George Brewing Releasing A Special Edition Suicide Squeeze IPA

Suicide Squeeze IPA *Special Edition Strikes in April

Astoria,OR - To make something for the pure joy of it. That was the mission at Suicide Squeeze Records as they emerged from the 90s Northwest rock scene. Celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, the lineup has grown from regional indie rock bands into a diverse international array of artists. And yet that core tenant remains.

Co-owners Jack Harris and Chris Nemlowill took a similar approach when they founded Fort George Brewery. Rather than adapting to style guidelines or industry standards, they opened the public house with a goal to brew the best beer you’ve had today. And starting in early April that beer is Suicide Squeeze IPA *Special Edition.

Suicide Squeeze IPA is back with an updated look. For *Special Edition the can has gone gold, and Grammy nominated Seattle artist Jesse LeDoux has enhanced his iconic snake design with thermochromatic ink. “The snake dies when the can is warm and comes alive when it’s cold,” Jesse explains. “If someone hands you a can with a lifeless snake, you may want to ask them to chill it out for a while.”

This is not the same session IPA from 2014 – the brewery has remastered the recipe in a big, big way with a solid 7.2% ABV. Artfully cut like a 7” vinyl, *Special Edition pops with Mosaic, Amarillo, and Citra hops. Front loaded with organic 2-row barley and layered with deep cuts of specialty malt, Suicide Squeeze IPA presents the craft audience a balanced, full sensory experience.

On Friday, April 29th, Porchlight Coffee & Records in Seattle hosts the Suicide Squeeze IPA release party. Musician Michael Nau will be performing songs from his new LP, Mowing, for the first time in Seattle. Doors open at 7pm with music starting at 8pm. And join the after-party, with more Suicide Squeeze IPA *Special Edition on tap, at The Pine Box around 10pm.

Look for Suicide Squeeze IPA *Special Edition in 16-ounce four-pack cans and draft starting April 13th. Fort George Brewery is distributed exclusively in the Pacific Northwest.

Cascade Brewing announces collaboration, evening with Bruery Terreux

PORTLAND, Ore. – Cascade Brewing has announced a collaboration project with Bruery Terreux that will kick off with a party on Friday, April 15 at the Cascade Brewing Barrel House, 939 SE Belmont St.

The event will launch with a special live barrel tapping at 6pm by brewers from Bruery Terreux; this will be followed by an evening with Bruery Terreux featuring five of the brewery’s sour beers and one non-sour (from The Bruery). Fans can look forward to tasting Filmishmish, Humulus Terreux, Oude Tart with Cherries, Sourrento, Blue BBLS and White Chocolate (the non-sour). The highlight of the lineup will be a collaboration blend with Cascade, a limited 10 gallon batch made solely for the event.

Bruery Terreux team members are traveling to Portland specifically to design a recipe with Cascade for a beer that is projected to be released in bottles by both breweries in 2017. Cascade brewers will be heading to Bruery Terreux in May to continue the collaboration process.

“We’re so excited to be working with Bruery Terreux on a collaboration beer,” stated Kevin Martin, lead blender for Cascade Brewing. “We have so much respect for what they’re doing with sour ales and barrel aging. Our brewing philosophies complement one another, and we think sour beer fans will really appreciate the final product.”

Oregon Garden Brewfest celebrates 12th year on Father’s Day weekend

SILVERTON, Ore. — The 12th annual Oregon Garden Brewfest presented by Venti’s Café will take place June 17 through 19 – Father’s Day weekend – at The Oregon Garden, located at 879 W Main St. in Silverton. The popular Willamette Valley festival will feature 120 handcrafted beers, ciders and mead from 60 different breweries from across the nation. Event hours are 3pm to 11pm Friday, Noon to 11pm Saturday, and Noon to 6pm Sunday.

New this year, the Oregon Garden Brewfest will relocate from its traditional indoor setting out into the forest, where the participating breweries will be set up in booths dotted throughout the woods underneath the warm glow of bistro lights. There will be a number of cozy fire pits and covered areas available for people to gather with family and friends.

“We are so excited to bring Brewfest into the heart of the Garden,” exclaimed Brittney Hatteberg, regional marketing manager for The Oregon Garden. “Guests can take better advantage of the summer weather and explore more of the Garden from this location. It will be a charming experience, and unlike any other beer festival in Oregon.”

Guests are encouraged to take their beer and explore the 80-acres of botanical gardens, which will be in full bloom in June. There will also be live music on one stage under a tent in the forest, allowing guests to hear the music comfortably from a variety of locations. Local act Deadwood Standing will headline the stage Friday night; additional acts will be announced online.

Also new this year, minors will be welcome on Saturday from Noon to 5pm and during all hours on Sunday; on Father's Day, there will be a kid's craft area as well. The new location is closer to the Children's Garden, allowing families to be near the festivities as well as close to entertainment for kids.

Advance admission ranges from $15 for a one-day ticket to $30 for a three-day ticket to $55 for a VIP ticket; door prices increase by $5. All admission packages include a souvenir pint glass and a varying number of tasting tickets. In most instances, a full glass of beer costs four tickets, and a taster costs one; additional tasting tickets may be purchased for $1 apiece. Designated drivers pay $5, which includes a bottle of water, and minors pay $5; children ages four and under are free. Silverton residents receive a discount on Friday with proof of residency. Parking at The Oregon Garden is $5 per car; free shuttles are available from various locations in Silverton. 2016 Portland Fruit Beer Festival announces Dates, Tickets & New Location

The Portland Fruit Beer Festival will be held at the North Park Blocks in downtown Portland for it's sixth year this June 10-12th, 2016. This major expansion takes the fast-growing festival and increasing popularity of fruit beers to new heights from it's old concrete home to grass, tree's, park benches, sun and shade with more space, more beers and more ciders than ever. Tickets are now on sale for the Portland Fruit Beer Festival with an added 3 ticket bonus to advanced general admission purchases.

In addition to the new location at Portland's centrally located North Park Blocks, the Fruit Beer Festival adds a 3rd full day with bonus tickets to walk-up General Admission attendees arriving before 2:30pm on Friday June 10th. General Admission packages start at $25 for a branded Govino 16oz cup and 12 drink tickets but advanced online ticket holders or those who arrive early Friday receive an extra 3 drink tickets. Beers and ciders will be 4oz pours for 1-3 tickets and additional drink tickets are only $1. 

Burnside Brewing Co. will host the Burnside Can Garden inside the Portland Fruit Beer Festival, and offer $3 an $4 cans of Burnside Couch Lager and Burnside IPA respectively. This special new beer garden offers an alternative to the fruit beers and samples for a full and easily quafable 12oz can of beer.

The Portland Fruit Beer Festival will expand the list of participating breweries and cideries from 27 in 2015 to as many as 35 in 2016. With both more beer and more cideries that offer plenty of gluten-free options. The rare and rotating taps of very limited special kegs will also return.

As usual, the Fruit Beer Fest is ALL-AGES and will have some of the best local food vendors from Hot Lips Pizza to Bunk Sandwiches and more. Music will be provided by some of our best local DJ's and for non-drinkers their will be Hot Lips fruit juices and sodas. “Hop Pursuit is the ultimate celebration of Oregon agriculture and Pacific Northwest hops,” says Full Sail Brewmaster Jim Kelter. Brewers shoot a wonderfully hoppy surplus of Cascade, Mosaic, Equinox, and Simcoe into the fermenter using the Hop Shooter, dry hopping the beer and enhancing the aroma of pineapple and late hop flavors. Piney and mango notes follow with a mid-palate hint of honey. Two-Row Northwest Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts provide the right amount of malt character. Balanced by a clean, caramel malt body, Hop Pursuit's multi-layered hop flavors lead to a crisp, assertive finish. Like the Pacific Northwest, this IPA has hops for days.

Blood Orange Wheat Ale joins the illustrious brews in the Full Sail Pub Series, a rotating series that bottles the best of the brewery’s Hood River drafts. “Blood orange, with its berry and orange notes, provides a delicate twist to this refreshing brew,” says Full Sail Executive Brewmaster Jamie Emmerson of the new Blood Orange Wheat Ale. Brewed with 2-Row Northwest Pale, malted and unmalted wheat, and a hint of citrus, Blood Orange Wheat Ale has a medium malt body with subtle orange and a crisp wheat finish.  “We’re really excited to add Blood Orange Wheat Ale to our rotating Pub Series,” says Kelter, “and we’re particularly thrilled to see it launched with our newly rebranding packaging designs.”

Spokane, WA…Brewing beer and building a better Spokane.  What could be more fun?  With community development efforts like the Taster Tray Program and LocALE Mondays, No-Li Brewhouse is extremely excited to be partnering with the Mayor's office and United Way/VolunteerSpokane.org for Spokane Gives Month in April! 

Along with highlighting Garland as the LocALE neighborhood at the pub each Monday night, No-Li's staff will donating their time to multiple non-profit  organizations and events throughout the historic district. 

"Creating a culture focused on supporting and strengthening the Spokane community has been a clear goal at No-Li since day one," says No-Li Sales & Marketing Manager, Callet Ioane.  "We're thrilled to kick off our month on April 9th with The Guild School and then on the 23rd as part of Cleaning from the Corridor on East Sprague.  As an organization, we pride ourselves on being a part of the fabric of this community and that includes doing what we can to always make it better."

Oskar Blues Releasing Beerito A Vienna Mexican lager

Longmont, CO & Brevard, NC - Oskar Blues Brewery dives deep into raw ingredients with farmers and maltsters for the launch of BEERITO, a Vienna Mexican lager set to be released at the end of March. Oskar Blues' own malty sanchez, BEERITO, weighs in at 4.0% ABV and 21 IBUs.

The hallmark of this beer is the complexity of its deeply developed malt bill, which includes Weyermann Barke Vienna, Carabelge, Melanoidin, and Colorado's own Troubadour Blue Ballad malt. Oskar Blues steps into the fray very early working with barley breeders and maltsters to travel to the fields of Colorado, Montana, Alberta, England, and Germany collaborating on barley varieties and malting processes to express the deepest of flavor complexities.  

"The challenge in creating this beer was creating layers of complexities rather than an abundance of big flavor," said Tim Matthews, Oskar Blues' Head of Brewing Operations. "The result is a mild mouth coating with malt complexity, ranging from almonds, walnuts and bread crust, along with a refreshing hop note from noble hops."

The process expands on the long standing relationship with Weyermann Specialty Malts, a leader in environmental stewardship and sustainability in the malt world, while strengthening a growing relationship with Northern Colorado's Troubadour Malting. That relationship started with a special holiday release called "One of the Days", brewed with the first harvest of Genie Barley in Northern Colorado. The depth of aroma, flavor and mouthfeel in this beer all benefit from the skill of the Maltster. Finally, subtle floral, spicy notes from the French Aramis hop and German Hallertauer Mittelfrueh hop tie the brew together.

New Belgium’s Latest Hop Kitchen Release, Botanical Imperial IPA, Blossoms With Spring Flavor

Ft. Collins, Colo., March 22, 2016 – Using the fresh aroma of the spring landscape as inspiration, New Belgium Brewing’s Botanical Imperial IPA uses a blast of essential oils from backyard botanicals. Basil, sage and juniper help create the freshest IPA around, with Bravo, Cascade, Sterling, and Willamette hop varieties delivering a potent hop punch.

“The essential oils intensify the citrusy, herbal and spicy hop flavors,” noted Ross Koenigs, New Belgium Pilot Brewer. “The idea for a botanical IPA came from our love of both IPAs and gin. So back in 2014, we had our hop chemist run a bunch of gin botanicals alongside different hop varieties and then we started beta testing how those different herbs and spices played with the hops. The result offers notes of citrus, pine, wood, cedar, mint, and a little spice.”

Small And Independent Brewers Continue To Grow Double Digits

Boulder, COMarch 22, 2016—The Brewers Association (BA), the trade association representing small and independent1 American craft brewers, today released 2015 data on U.S. craft brewing2 growth. With more breweries than even before, small and independent craft brewers now represent 12 percent market share of the overall beer industry.

In 2015, craft brewers produced 24.5 million barrels, and saw a 13 percent rise in volume3 and a 16 percent increase in retail dollar value.  Retail dollar value was estimated at $22.3 billion, representing 21 percent market share.

“For the past decade, craft brewers have charged into the market, seeing double digit growth for eight of those years,” said Bart Watson, chief economist, Brewers Association. “There are still a lot of opportunities and areas for additional growth. An important focus will remain on quality as small and independent brewers continue to lead the local, full-flavored beer movement.”

Additionally, in 2015 the number of operating breweries in the U.S. grew 15 percent, totaling 4,269 breweries—the most at any time in American history. Small and independent breweries account for 99 percent of the breweries in operation, broken down as follows: 2,397 microbreweries, 1,650 brewpubs and 178 regional craft breweries. Throughout the year, there were 620 new brewery openings and only 68 closings. One of the fastest growing regions was the South, where four states—Virginia, North Carolina, Florida and Texas—each saw a net increase of more than 20 breweries, establishing a strong base for future growth in the region.   

Combined with already existing and established breweries and brewpubs, craft brewers provided nearly 122,000 jobs, an increase of over 6,000 from the previous year.

“Small and independent brewers are a beacon for beer and our economy,” added Watson. “As breweries continue to open and volume increases, there is a strong need for workers to fill a whole host of positions at these small and growing businesses.”

Note: Numbers are preliminary. The Brewers Association will release the list of Top 50 craft brewing companies and overall brewing companies by volume sales on April 5. Additionally, a more extensive analysis will be released during the Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo America® in Philadelphia from May 3-6. Deschutes Brewery Chooses Roanoke, Virginia for Second Home

Oregon brewery selects Roanoke for its east coast brewing facility based on its location, culture, community and resources

Bend, OR/Roanoke, VA – March 22, 2016 – Deschutes Brewery announced its much anticipated decision on an east coast location today at an event in downtown Roanoke, Virginia. The growing brewery, which was founded in Oregon in 1988 by Gary Fish, has explored hundreds of potential locations in the region over the last two years. The company selected Roanoke based on several criteria including a culture and community that fit well with Deschutes’ decades-deep roots.

“We started Deschutes Brewery when craft beer wasn’t burgeoning and led with a beer style that wasn’t popular at the time – Black Butte Porter,” said Gary Fish, CEO and founder of the brewery. “This pioneering approach was a key driver behind our decision to go with Roanoke, as that same spirit exists in this community and its fast-growing beer culture.”

The future Roanoke facility has been lovingly dubbed “Brew 4” as it takes its place in line after the original Bend, Oregon public house (Brew 1), the brewery’s production facility in Bend (Brew 2) and the Portland, Oregon public house (Brew 3). Brew 4 will be located at the eastern edge of Roanoke with construction on the site beginning in 2019. Eventually, a little over 100 new jobs will be created for the region, and the new brewery will produce approximately 150,000 barrels to start, with a design to increase capacity as needed. Deschutes expects to start shipping beer from the Roanoke location in about five years.

 “Roanoke is honored to be chosen as Deschutes Brewery's East Coast location after a very thorough review of several communities in the Southeast,” said Roanoke City Manager Chris Morrill.  “It is a company with a strong culture of community engagement, recognized for its craftsmanship and will be a perfect fit for Roanoke's vibrant outdoor lifestyle.  We are thrilled to welcome Deschutes as we continue to build a diverse, resilient economy.”

Deschutes Brewery chose to add an east coast location after the company’s distribution footprint (which currently includes 28 states and the District of Columbia) reached the east coast. By having a production facility on the eastern seaboard, the brewery will be able to deliver beers – such as its flagship Black Butte Porter – to states east of the Mississippi quickly and more sustainably.

Full Sail Rebrands its Ridiculously Tasty Beer
Science and art unite in Full Sail’s new packaging designs

Hood River, Oregon – March 21, 2016 – Full Sail Brewing Company, Hood River’s award-winning craft brewery since 1987, has announced a stunning new package design, signaling a brand evolution.

“In an increasingly competitive craft-beer marketplace, we knew Full Sail’s packaging needed to be as notable and attention getting as the award-winning brews inside the bottle,” says Full Sail Executive Brewmaster Jamie Emmerson. A good brew starts with great water, and the new packaging’s water imagery honors this magnificent resource. “A layer of spot varnish that evokes flicker and catches the attention of your peripheral vision and hand-drawn, wavy lines in a moiré illustration style are the guiding visual elements,” says MiQ Willmott of TWEEQiM creativeLab, who penned the artwork. The revitalized Full Sail logo and coat of arms also breathe new life into the story behind the brand, highlighting Full Sail’s Oregon heritage and connection to the winds that blow through the Gorge, Mt. Hood’s majestic beauty, the mighty waters of the Columbia and the abundant agriculture that supplies the brewery.

Subtle design elements on each package serve as a nod to Full Sail’s principles and priorities. Portland Farmhouse & Wild Ale Fest Announces Beer List And Specials

The 4th annual Portland Farmhouse & Wild Ale Festival announces their most extensive and rare beer list thus far today with over 70 beers from across the country being poured March 26th and 27th in N. Portland. Festival organizers would like to note that not all 70+ beers will be on at once but will rotate through with about 42(!) pouring at one time. To feed those who attend the largest farmhouse fest yet, can look forward to a special Saraveza snack and main dish menu made to pair with these French and Belgian-inspired brews.

Bottles of the official 2016 Farmhouse Fest exclusive beer "The Croze" from The Commons Brewery will be on sale both Saturday and Sunday for just $10 a 750ml bottle.

The Croze is an oaked open-fermented saison brewed with pilsner malt, malted wheat, and German hops, bottled and keg conditioned. The Croze was made using a unique technique of fermenting in open top oak barrels. 5.3% ABV and very limited.

Beer connoisseurs will want to attend both days of the festival to get the full spectrum and rare bottles and draft. For instance the final day of the fest, Sunday March 27th will feature the bottles/tappings of Sante Adairius Saison Bernice, The Bruery Batch #1731, De Garde Saison Mélange No. 3, Perennial Saison Blanc, Jester King/Stillwater: Audio Palette and Jester King: Simple Means among many, many others.

General admission tickets for $25 will be available at the door both Saturday and Sunday with entrance beginning at 3pm. The Farmhouse and Wild Ale Festival is all-ages but is geared towards adults.

Almanac: Elephant Heart de Brettaville
Elephant Heart de Brettaville takes its name from Elephant Heart plums, a fruit prized for its ruby red flesh and berry-like tartness. We began with a brett-fermented ale and aged it in wine barrels with this succulent stone fruit, then generously dry-hopped with El Dorado right before packaging. 6.5% Abv.

Blackberry Farms: Noble Cuvee
In keeping with the spirit of traditional Old-World Farmhouse Ales, we have crafted a golden, dry-hopped Saison featuring German Select, Tettnanger, East Kent Golding hops. This beer’s floor-malted pilsner grain bill and classic Belgian Saison yeast create a pleasantly light and balanced beer, accentuated by subtle earth and spice notes from the Noble dry hop addition.  Extended bottle conditioning before release creates a light effervescent carbonation and a thick, creamy head when poured.6.3% ABV

Block 15: Psidum (2011)
Rustic farmhouse ale matured with guava fruit.  Blended with 25% house Turbulent Consequence (fermented with house microflora, brettanomyces, lactobacillus, & pediococcus). Brewed with Belgian pilsner, French pale & wheat malts; Saaz & Citra hops; French farmhouse yeast. 6.2% ABV

Boulevard: Tank 7
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickety. Here at Boulevard we have fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were experimenting with variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a big surge of fruity aromatics and grapefruit-hoppy notes, the flavor of this complex, straw-colored ale tapers off to a peppery, dry finish. 8.5% Abv.

Breakside: Belly Laugh
The third bottle in this series is a beer we call Belly Laugh.
Belly Laugh is a traditional saison brewed with a French farmhouse yeast, triticale (wheat/rye) malt, and a touch of elderfower and grains of paradise. very dry, bright, and highly carbonated!

Breakside: Wunder Brett
7.7% ABV, Experimental blonde beer fermented 100% with Brettanomyces, conditioned on aged whole leaf hops, and blended with our Sour Golden ale.

Breakside: Apollo & Dionysus (2014)
A saison brewed with Widmer Brothers using Crysanthemum flowers and then aged in gin barrels.

Breakside: Bon Vivant
We filled old Pinot Noir barrels from Archery Summit Winery with a hoppy Belgian golden ale and aged it for six months. The barrels contribute notes of light cherry, acidity, oak, and cola; mean- while the hops are Comet and Amarillo, varietals prized for their pungency and fruitiness. Together they harmonize beautifully with the yeast and malt character of the base beer.A Bon Vivant is not only someone who relishes the luxuries of life– a good beer, a great wine, a delicious meal–but who also loves sharing those luxuries with friends. We hope that you’ll embrace that gregarious spirit as you enjoy this rare beer. Cheers! 8.4% ABV 25 IBU

Block 15: Caves Saison
Our house saison brewed for our sister restaurant, Les Caves Bier and Kitchen, Caves Saison is brewed with pilsner & pale base malts and a touch of rye, wheat, and oats. Lightly hopped, and fermented with French Saison yeast for a lemony, spicy finish. 
4.6% ABV

The Bruery Batch #1731
a 100% brettanomyces-fermented hoppy session ale created by homebrewer Kevin Osborne of Los Angeles. When we judged through all of our competition entries, his complex yet quaffable creation shouted WINNER! (as well as tropical!, funky! and dry!). It puts El Dorado, Mosaic and Chinook hops on a pedestal as much as one possibly could.

The Bruery: Jardinier
Jardinier, which is French for “gardener,” was inspired by the fresh, sessionable beers so often found on the Belgian dinner table. Bright and flavorful with an assertive hop character, Jardinier is a perfect beer for any occasion, casual or ornate.

A hazy tropical IPA brewed with Brett yeast and Mandarina Bavaria, Citra, Cascade and Chinook hops. Tropical, citrus and pineapple flavors on highlight this moderately bittered IPA.6.2% Abv


De Garde: Grand Rouge
A Wild Red Ale with Zinfandel Grapes

De Garde: Tres Grand Blanc
A wild rye ale aged in oak foeder, refermented sdsddddddon late harvest Oregon Riesling grapes, then dry hopped in oak with Nelson and a pinch of Citra.

De Garde: Saison Melange No. 3
Blended from first use Gin and Wine barrels. Aged up to two years, providing a delicate Brettanomyces complexity to balance the characterful barrel contribution and expressive yeast notes. Tart, fruity, spicy, delicious.

Great Notion: Señor Blanc
A saison brewed with Kiwi, Pear and Sauvignon Blanc Grapes aged in Hungarian Oak with house sour culture. 7% ABV. 

Jester King: Le Petit Prince
e Petit Prince is a 2.8% ABV farmhouse table beer brewed with pilsner malt, wheat, a touch of Caramunich and acidulated malt, lots of Czech Saaz hops and farmhouse yeast. This is a beer we’ve been excited about for quite some time now, as we believe that it’s a clear, simple expression of the delicate, delightful interplay between noble hops and farmhouse yeast.

Jester King: Autumnal Dichotomous
The 7th in the Dichotomous series, reflects the flavors of autumn. 2015 Autumnal Dichotomous is brewed with Texas Satsuma mandarins and cinnamon, using a simple malt bill to evoke the flavors and aromas of autumn baking. 6.8% alcohol by volume, 28 IBU, 4.22 pH at the time of packaging, and has a finishing gravity of 1.002.

Jester King: Simple Means
Our farmhouse altbier with smoked malt. For us, Simple Means is an exercise in succinctness and restraint. Both the use of smoked malts and mixed fermentation with native yeast and bacteria predate modern brewing techniques, lending flavors to our farmhouse altbier that are evocative of a simpler, much earlier time. 5.6% alcohol by volume, and at the time of bottling was 4.3 pH, 26 IBU, and had a gravity of 1.4 degrees Plato (1.005).
 
Jester King: Ol' Oi 
In Britain, what started out as young or “mild” dark ale was once aged in oak barrels to make beer that was likely similar to sour brown ales of East Flanders. Using a similar base recipe to Commercial Suicide Farmhouse Mild Ale, Ol’ Oi is our tribute to that tradition.6.5% Abv.

Jester King/Stillwater: Audio Palette.our spelty farmhouse ale with American hops, brewed in collaboration with Stillwater Artisanal! The motivation behind Audio Palette stems from our mutual love of music. Stillwater Artisanal Founder/Owner Brian Strumke and Jester King Head Brewer Garrett Crowell are both musicians, and Garrett named the beer in reference to Brian’s musical background. Garrett for years has been highly influenced by the work of composer and musical theorist John Cage. Cage embraced “natural variance” and unpredictability in his compositions, which Garrett sees as paralleling mixed culture fermentation. .3% alcohol by volume, 51 IBU, and has a finishing gravity of 1.001 (0.25 degrees Plato). It was packaged on November 30th, 2015. 

Logsdon: Cerasus
A Flanders-style Red Ale, oak-aged, with 45 pounds of local cherries per barrel. 8.5% Abv.

Logsdon: Peche n Brett
Logsdon's Seizoen Bretta oak aged and loaded with tons of local organic peaches (a pound and a half per gallon). 10% Abv.

Logsdon: Far West Vlaming
Our organic red ale is brewed in traditional West Flanders style. A combination of light, crystal, and dark barley malt, wheat, and oats are brewed with local whole-cone hops and a variety of select yeast and lactic bacteria. We age our red ale in oak barrels for a period of time to develop complex richness, soft tannins, and fruity tart character. The aged beer is then blended with young beer to create the desired balance of malt sweetness with a dry finish. 6.5% Abv.

Perennial: Procatstination
Our 4 way collab between Northdown, Off Color, Side Project and Perennial. This is a barrel fermenter saison that uses Off Color's house yeast, the funky cocktail from Perennial's Funky Wit and was fermented and aged in French oak red wine barrels til maturity. It was then blended with a touch Side Project's Foedre Beer at bottling to brighten it up 7.0%

Elderflower Saison with Brett. Spring floral nose, citrus notes of tangerine, pineapple and tropical fruit golden straw hue, light buttery - creamy body with rustic honey tartness bright floral highlights, crisp and dry finish. 7% Abv.

Golden saison ale brewed with elderflowers and aged in a syrah barrel with wild salmonberries. 7.5% Abv.

Propolis: Pi
A barrel aged strawberry rhubarb golden ale. 7.5% Abv.

An Imperial golden ale brewed with cedar and honey. 9% Abv.

Ruse Brewing: Architect Saison
Our dry-hopped Saison is packed with flavor: rustic, bright, and endlessly refreshing. Russian River: Supplication
Brown Ale aged in used Pinot Noir barrels from local Sonoma County wineries. It is aged for about 12 months with sour cherries, brettanomyces, lactobacillus, and pediococcus added to each barrel. Flavors from the cherries, Pinot Noir and oak balance each other nicely with a little funk from the brett.

Sante Adairius: Saison Bernice 
An exquisitely fermented farmhouse ale. Dry and refreshing, Bernice is made of the freshest on-hand and locally available ingredients. She receives multiple yeast additions, including Brettanomyces, and is further aged in the bottle.

Seven Brides: Marionberry Saison
A tart refreshing quencher aged in red wine barrels for 22 months with a kiss of fresh marion berries in the last month. 8.1% abv.

Solera Brewery: The French Tickler 
Grisette-Style Ale. As Saison was considered the drink of farm workers, Grisette was the brew of the miners. Brewed with pilsner and wheat malts, hopped with Citra. A simple, clean and bone dry French-style session beer. 4.0% Abv, 20 IBU.

Upright Brewing: Anniversary Saison
A blend of three wine barrels and one gin cask filled with a cascade hopped light saison. Small additions of apricot and brettanomyces give the beer layers that go across several elements we love in saisons - dry and minerally, bitter and grainy, lightly fruity and earthy, capped by soft acidity and a long finish. 6.25%

Upright Brewing: Upright Saison 
A one-off made with a yeast from the Dupont brewery (but not the "typical" Dupont strain"). An extra light grist of Czech pilsener malt with moderate hopping using liberty, santiam, and columbia hops yields a classic profile with herbal ingredient driven notes playing alongside fruity and spicy fermentation based flavors. 5.2%

Urban Family Brewing: Lady of the Night
This sour ale combined tropical and vinious hops with a lacto tartness. The perfectly pair with each other as well as the sourness and the dry finish complements the mouth taste and feel. 6.19% Abv 

Urban Family Brewing: Clouds of Pale Gold
This farmhouse ale was brewed with the zest and pulp of meyer lemons as well as fresh picked dandelion greens, the resulting beer is tart citrus and dank bitterness marriage. 5.3% Abv

Urban Family Brewing: Signs of Erosion Grisette
Inspired by the 68’ French riots, this delicate grissette really highlights it’s noble hops and soft cereal mouthfeel. Brewed with wild yeast this beer will develop additional flavors as it ages. 4.6% Abv

Worthy Brewing: Lyrical Genius Flanders Red
Inspired by the Flanders region of Belgium and the greatest living rockstar, this Flemish Red is tart on the tongue with notes of tobacco, caramel, ripe berries and dates. It was aged in oak Sangiovese barrels for 18 months with brettanomyces, lactobacillus, & pediococcus,  giving it a complex and round finish that lingers. 8% ABV  15 IBU
