McMenamins breweries are releasing three never-before-seen (and likely never to be seen again!) beers along with McMenamins’ latest limited-edition summer seasonal: Copper Moon.

Jalapeño Miel De Oro Ale – Small batch

Brewed by Jen Kent, Thompson Brewery

Only on tap at Boon’s Treasury in Salem June 8 until it’s gone!

Roasted Anaheim and Jalapeno peppers slowly simmered in honey and then added to McMenamins Deacon Blue Golden Ale result in a beer with warm peppery notes and just a touch of sweetness. Not too hot, full of flavor and perfect for a summer day.

Squeeze Play IPA – Small batch

In honor of the return of baseball season and our beloved Hillsboro Hops, McMenamins created Squeeze Play IPA, a crisp, summer-style IPA with big citrusy flavors imparted from Northwest hops and a clean, dry finish. So hoist a pint and root, root, root for the home team!

Hop Gremlin Double IPA – Small batch

This IPA is packed with rich hop flavor and notes of guava, lemon, evergreen and fresh pine. Its dry finish and smooth mouthfeel might fool you into thinking this beer is lighter than it is, so consider yourself forewarned: this beer packs an ABV over nine percent.

It’s no coincidence that the release of McMenamins’ latest seasonal, Copper Moon, and the official first day of summer almost coincide. Organic malts and Horizon, Citra and Chinook hops impart a summery smooth sweetness to this juicy, thirst-quenching beer. The season of summer beers may seem endless but don’t be fooled!
