Double Mountain’s Pale Death Returns

Courtsey of Double Mountain Brewing CO
Hood River, OR - April 5th, 2016 - Double Mountain Brewery & Taproom welcomes spring with the return of their popular Belgian Style Imperial IPA Pale Death. This aromatic IPA is currently available in the bottle and on draft at the Double Mountain Brewery & Taproom located in downtown Hood River and throughout the Northwest, British Columbia, and Southern California.

“This year we used 100% Mosaic hops in the Pale Death. The Belgian Ardennes yeast and Mosaic hops go together beautifully in this drinkable imperial IPA. What else could you ask for in a beer? It’s damn tasty!”–Head Brewer, Kyle Larsen

Pale Death
Belgian Style Imperial IPA
8.5% ABV, 88 BU

Description: “And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts, and I looked to behold a Pale horse, and the name that set on him was Death, and Hell followed him.”

Open the Fourth Seal and partake in the luminous pungency of dank tropical forest.  Aromas of ripe kiwi, mango, and pineapple consort with the coriander and orange peel of the Ardennes yeast. A noticeable bitterness hangs in balance with a hint of malt sweetness hiding in the vast, pale orange foundation.  And yet, it finishes dry for a beer of this formidable stature.
