PORTLAND, Ore. (February 17, 2016)– Ecliptic Brewing received medals for two of their beers at the 2016 Best of Craft Beer Awards, as announced in early February.  Ecliptic’s Orange Giant Barleywine was awarded gold in the “American Barleywine” category, while Spica Pilsner took home silver in the “German Heritage Lager” category.

“Spica Pilsner was a beer that I had in my head for a long time, a spicy and herbal German Kellerbier,” said owner and brewmaster John Harris. “I am very excited to see this beer win a medal and for Orange Giant to take home a medal for the second year.”
