Area Craft Brewery releases their single hop red ale for a second year
Portland,
Ore. (Dec. 14, 2015) – Ecliptic Brewing, a craft brewery and restaurant in Portland’s Mississippi
neighborhood, will release Phobos Single Hop Red Ale on December 21st. Phobos is part of Ecliptic Brewing’s
seasonal line up and represents a delicious cheers to 2015 and the welcoming of
a new year.
“We are very happy to bring back
Phobos for a second year,” said Ecliptic Brewing owner and head brewmaster,
John Harris. “This beer was popular
last year and we can’t wait to see that excitement again.”
About
Phobos Single Hop Red Ale
Hopped entirely with citrusy,
tropical Azacca hops, Phobos is named after the Martian moon that circles the
Red Planet. Eight types of malts were
used to give this beer a deep caramel flavor and rich red color that would make
Old Man Mars proud. Phobos finishes
creamy and smooth.

John Harris, an Oregon beer icon whose background is steeped in the state’s
