Three Magnets Brewing Company’s 1st Anniversary and Bottle Release Party, November 28, 2015 from 2pm-10pm

OLYMPIA, November 24, 2015 – Three Magnets Brewing Company will be celebrating the 1st Anniversary of the opening of their brewpub by releasing their 1st Anniversary Ale, a blend of bourbon and port barrel aged strong ales, and Old Skook in the Woods, their GABF Award winning barleywine Old Skook, aged in bourbon barrels. Also newly for sale in the bottle is the Big Juice IIPA and the 2015 Wreathing Havoc.

About The Event

During the release party, all single bottle sales will be 10% off, and all case sales will be 20% off. Special guest beers will be on tap from friends of the brewery, and the Three Magnets/Salish Sea Organic Liquors/Wingman Brewers collaboration, an Herbal Saison, will also make it’s Olympia debut on tap. You will also be entered in a raffle for each bottle purchased. Winner will receive a prize package of a Three Magnets shirt, hat, branded growler, two branded pint glasses, and a $100 Three Magnets gift card.

1st Anniversary Ale

Our pub opened its doors in November of 2014. Since then, we’ve brewed over 40 unique beers, and made lots of great friends along the way. We’ve put together this special blend of barrel aged beers to celebrate our incredible journey.

Old Skook in the Woods
Our GABF Award winning Old Skook Barleywine, aged in bourbon barrels - 12.1%abv
We took our 2015 GABF Award winning Old Skook Barleywine and aged it in bourbon barrels. This strong ale starts with caramel and vanilla in the nose, followed by rich fig, chocolate, and plum flavors on the tongue, accentuated by a subtle toastiness. This beer is a small batch, hand bottled, limited release. Limit one bottle per person.

2015 Wreathing Havoc
Imperial red rye winter ale – 9.%abv, 55ibu
This Imperial Red Rye Winter Ale will keep you warm on our cold rainy winter nights. Brewed with copious amounts of rye and invert sugar, this monster teases your taste buds with hints of spiced rum and bittersweet toffee.

Big Juice
Double IPA - 9.5%abv, 100ibu
This double IPA is big and juicy. Brewed with three pounds of hops per barrel, tastes of tropical fruit and pine resonate. Clean and drinkable, this ale has just enough malt to set the stage for a pleasant alpha acid experience.
