These two beers received medals from the 2015 Best Of Craft Beer Awards.
Ecliptic Brewing’s Barrel-Aged Orange Giant Barleywine Ale was awarded
silver in the “Wood-Aged Beer” category, and the Orange Giant Barleywine
Ale collected the bronze “Barleywine” medal.

About Orange Giant Barleywine Ale
Named
after the giant orange stars in the sky, this barleywine has a
gratifying warming effect and drinks smooth. Three malts create a
hearty malt profile with robust character. Copious amounts of Chinook
and Nugget hops combine for a nice resin hop flavor. Orange Giant is
perfect for aging in your cellar. 2015 Best of Craft Beer Bronze Medal:
Barleywine.

About Barrel-Aged Orange Giant Barleywine Ale
Like
the blazing giant stars that inspire it, Orange Giant is truly massive.
Three malts and copious amounts of Chinook and Nugget hops impart a
creamy malt profile and resin hop character to the beer. This
barrel-aged version spent sixteen months sleeping in 12-year-old bourbon
barrels, developing a strong bourbon profile with notes of vanilla,
coconut, and oak. 2015 Best of Craft Beer Silver Medal: Wood-Aged Beer.

- ABV: 13.8%
- GRAVITY: 24°P
Limited
amounts of Orange Giant Barleywine will be available throughout their
distribution network following the event. Bourbon Barrel-Aged Orange
Giant Barleywine will only be available in Oregon.

name Ecliptic unites Harris’ two passions: brewing and astronomy, and as
