October 29, 2015 - Denver,CO- Oregon’s Deschutes Brewery set
up the world’s largest pop-up pub in Denver earlier this month and
raised a total of $56,000 for Bicycle Colorado. On October 17, the
brewery brought its 402-foot custom made, transportable pub to downtown
Denver, serving 132 kegs to approximately 8,000 people. The one-day-only
event donated 100 percent of proceeds to Bicycle Colorado.
With
a soft launch in Deschutes Brewery’s hometown of Bend, Oregon and
national stops in Philadelphia, Cleveland, Chicago, Minneapolis and
Denver so far this year, the Street Pub has raised more than $300,000
dollars for charity – far surpassing the brewery’s expectations for the
year.
Street Pub’s final stop for 2015 is coming up in Sacramento on November 14.
With a successful first year almost complete, Deschutes Brewery is
looking forward to announcing the 2016 Street Pub schedule soon.
