Off To GABF!

We're off to Denver today for our first ever Great American Beer Festival!  Since it's our first time, we're not heavily scheduling ourselves into events, preferring to figure out on the fly what looks the most fun.  With about 3500 beers to choose from and a multitude of organized beer tastings, product demos, and educational sessions there will be no shortage of options!  Honestly, there's so much to do it's a little overwhelming for us GABF newbies.  But, we did schedule a breakfast with Sam Adams and a tour of Denver's breweries so look for updates on those events over the next couple of days.

We're looking forward to getting our hands on hard-to-come-by favorites; Emily is looking forward to Crooked Stave's release of Mama Bear's Sour Cherry Pie as well as Bruery Terreux's samples. Adam is more into trying new stuff we normally couldn't get around the Portland, Oregon area.  We think we'll probably spend the most time trying new beers from regions of the country we haven't visited, and probably won't focus too much on Pacific Northwest beers since that's our home turf.
