“We
wanted to create a beer that Seattle football fans could enjoy from
kickoff to the final whistle, and False Start is the perfect mix of bold
flavor and crisp refreshment.”
said Nick Crandall, innovation brewer for Redhook Brewery.”
False Start
Session IPA was created with assistance from former Seahawks
defensive end Joe Tafoya, who is also the mastermind behind two
record-breaking cheers by Seahawks fans at CenturyLink Field, as
recorded by officials from Guinness World Records. The official False
Start tap handle features an airhorn to celebrate those fans
who bring the noise at every game.

About Redhook
Redhook
was born out of the energy and spirit of the early 1980s in the heart
of Seattle. While the term didn’t exist at the time, Redhook became one
of America’s
first “craft” breweries. From a modest start in a former transmission
shop in the Seattle neighborhood of Ballard, to the current breweries in
Woodinville, Wash., and Portsmouth, N.H., Redhook has become one of
America’s most recognized craft breweries.
