Beers Made By Walking, the program that invites brewers to create
place-based beers inspired by plants found on nature trails, announces
that tickets are now available for their Denver festival during the week
of the Great American Beer Festival.Tickets are $30 and include a commemorative glass and unlimited samples of festival beers from 4:30pm - 8:00 pm. The event will take place on Wednesday, September 23 at the outside space of Our Mutual Friend Brewing Company.
The
majority of beers at this festival were inspired by plants identified
along trails across the country. Other beers include specialty
indigenous beers created with local flora.

A portion of the Beers Made By Walking Denver Festival proceeds will benefit the Sand Creek Regional Greenway Partnership. The Greenway is a 14-mile public greenway that connects over 100 miles of urban trails in the Denver metro area and links the neighborhoods of northwest Aurora, northeast Denver, and southern Commerce City. A number of the breweries participating in Beers Made By Walking have created beer inspired by this trail.
